Dear Friends,
This spring came with new beautiful projects, which motivate us to look forward with optimism to achieving our main goal: contributing to the well-being of teachers in Romania. Out of the desire to stay connected and create an authentic community of courageous teachers, we send you the latest news from our activities.
Your support is important to succeed in continuing our mission.
We invite you to get involved in supporting the Happy Teachers for Romania program, by redirecting 3.5% of your income tax withheld by the state, until May 25, 2021, for the well-being of teachers and students in Romania.
Study on the Well-Being of Teachers in Romania
We are very happy to inform you that we will implement the first study in Romania on the topic of teachers’ well-being, together with Dr. Gilda Scarfe, psychologist and founder of Positive Ed!
The study takes place between March and April 2021 and it is aimed at teachers in undergraduate education across the country.
We invite you to participate in the study by filling in the following survey: http://bit.ly/chestionar_stareadebine
Thus, you will help us understand the status quo while finding solutions together to support the well-being of teachers in Romania.
“Charming Conversations with Farmec” for Well-Being
We are ready to launch a new series within the Podcasts “Happy Teachers for Romania” this month!
We are very grateful to Farmec, the largest manufacturing company of cosmetics in Romania, which decided to support us in cultivating the mental, emotional and physical well-being of our community members! Soon we will launch the first episode within the series “Charming Conversations with Farmec” for Well-Being!
The national training “Teachers’ Well-Being” continues!
With the generous support of the companies Herlitz România and Azomureș, we continue our national training program “Teachers’ Well-Being – a Conscious Journey”.
In March, we interacted with teams of teachers from Brașov, Suceava, and Bistrita Nasaud, who learned how to reduce stress and build emotional resilience, in order to reach the state of inner harmony. The training continues in April with two teams of teachers from Bucharest.
We support the students involved in the community!
Over 60% of ninth-grade students in Romania consider that the current education system does not offer them opportunities for personal development.
With this in mind, the young people from ThinkUp Academy launched the National Program for Personal Development of Students in Romania. This program connects schools, companies, and organizations, in order to provide students with a platform to explore their own interests. The National Program offers free semestrial webinars with experts in key fields of activity, access to a network of over 800 young people involved, as well as volunteering opportunities within partner organizations and companies.
Become a partner of ThinkUp Academy! Together we can cross the borders of cities and counties, in order to actively involve students in their own education! For further information and to sign up in the National Program, visit the website of ThinkUp Academy:
